While the museum doesn't have a permanent collection, there are usually several small exhibitions going on at any given time, focusing on ceramics, photography, drawings and paintings. And while you're here, be sure to check out the fantastic museum shop in the basement, which is one of the best design shops in Tokyo. The strikingly original building was designed by architect Kisho Kurokawa.
