The museum's impressive 7000-piece collection focuses on ancient Chinese, Japanese and Korean ceramics, although it includes some modern works as well. They put on four thematic shows per year, but unfortunately with only three small exhibit rooms they can only display around 100 pieces at a time, and the Y1000 admission charge seems a bit steep for what you get. After you've breezed through the show you can relax with a cup of green tea in the 1970s-era lounge and admire the view of the garden out back.
