The collection of 2000 items of costume jewelry is organized according to style and time period, with exhibit areas devoted to the Victorian Era, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Haute Couture, Pret-a-porter and Avant Garde styles. In addition to regular holidays, the museum is closed during August, during Golden Week, and over the New Year; check their website for details.
