This traditional Japanese-style garden, which first opened to the public in the early 1900s, is spread out over a massive 17.5-hectare site. Amid the various garden areas are seventeen reconstructed buildings of historical importance. Guided tours in English are available from 2-3pm daily except for Tuesdays and Fridays; check the website for details. The garden is open until 9pm during June firefly season.
