[Update: the facility is scheduled to close on February 17, 2019.] J-World is an indoor theme park devoted to Dragon Ball-Z, Naruto, One Piece and other anime series from the Weekly Shonen Jump production company. Rather than just having rides, the park aims at creating an immersive experience for visitors. For example in the Naruto area, a replica of a ninja academy, guests have to use their ninja skills to traverse a maze-like obstacle course and find hidden switches. In the Dragon Ball-Z area guests search for dragon balls.

Full English-language explanations are provided for each of the adventures. In addition to the main themed areas (each of which charges separate admission), the park also contains an arcade area with Jump-themed photo booths, a gift shop, and the J-World Kitchen where you can dine on Jump-related food items such as Naruto ramen and Dragon Ball-Z garlic fried chicken.

Advance tickets are recommended for weekends and holidays; check the website for details. Admission is discounted after 5pm. J-World is located inside the Sunshine City Alpa shopping complex, along with Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo and the Namja Gyoza Stadium food theme park.
