Catering to hard-core anime fans, Tokyo Anime Center organizes month-long exhibitions showcasing specific anime production studios and titles. Limited-edition postcards, drawings, framed artwork and other products are on sale for each exhibition. There's also a permanent-exhibit area focusing on anime-production technology, and a small screening space.

The center also promises to host anime-related events and organize new-product tryouts for AR- and VR-related technologies. Formerly located in Akihabara, the facility is now part of DNP Plaza, run by the Dai-Nippon Printing company. Upstairs from the exhibition floor there's a bookstore and a cafe serving coffee, soft drinks, snacks and desserts.
