Cosmetics company Shiseido's museum has adopted a science-lab theme, with cool-looking laboratory equipment and hands-on exhibits. You can combine scents to blend your own unique fragrance, and compare the textures of different makeup brushes. Explore the subtle nuances of cosmetics packaging in red, black, white and gold color schemes as well as various container shapes. Check out the extensive historical exhibits for a glimpse of Japanese cultural and design trends over the past century.
The museum occupies the second floor of Shiseido Beauty Park, which opened in early 2025 to replace the former S/PARK Museum. On the first floor you'll find the Shiseido Beauty Diagnosis Lab, where you can get personalized beauty advice. Occupying the front half of the floor is the Shiseido Kitchen Lab, which serves meals built around medicinal herbs, dessert parfaits and a range of teas.
Shiseido Beauty Park is one of a trio of free attractions located at Shin-Takashima Station, along with railway-themed Keikyu Museum, with its room-size diorama, and BankArt Station, a contemporary art gallery located on the B1 level of the station.
