Since the store's recent renovation, Mitsukoshi's two-level food hall has expanded to more than a hundred food stalls run by well-known restaurants, bakeries, sweets shops, tea sellers, and other purveyors of gourmet food and drink. The tiny wine-tasting counter is a pleasant place to stop for a quick glass and a cheese or ham plate to nibble on.

There's also a rather extensive fresh-food market, a well-stocked wine shop called La Cave, an Italian-inspired deli department called Bon Buono Goo, and a few sit-down counters serving various snacks. If you enjoy comparison shopping, you can combine a trip here with the equally impressive Matusya department-store food hall, just one block north.
